how did you get here? through a wardrobe, or through death, or maybe a portal gone terribly astray. a ring. the roar of a lion. in the bottom of a cup. because you were looking for something, or missing something. no matter how you got there, this is where you belong.

[She shifts too, until she's on top of him, and she's kissing him back, her hands in his hair. Hello, lover.]

Then you should eat.

There is food right there.

[But she's not moving, she's just kissing him more. She trusts that if she lands on something tender, he will tell her, he will move her.]

[He moves with her easily, happily, his hands settling on her hips, leaning up into the kiss.]

[HIs hand curls around the back of her neck as he slides his other arm around her waist to pull her closer.]

[She goes quiet.]

Are you uninjured now? Should you like all of me?

[George trails his lips down Lucy's throat, but he stills at her question, teeth grazing her skin. He pulls back to look at her with awe on his face and in his voice.]

Yes, Lucy. I want all of you.

[illuminescent]

[She tugs at him a little, so she can kiss his neck, and the his collarbone.]

Yes.

[Her smile is soft.]

Of course, yes, my love, my heart.

You must know more than me in this.

[curlytop]

[His eyes close briefly, and his breath comes heavier as her lips move over him. He's sure she can feel his pulse pounding in his throat.]

What do you mean?

[illuminescent]

I mean.

All my experience, and all I know, has been with you.

[She didn't know anything about sex. She still knows very little. Edmund knows the most, because Edmund knows everything, and because Edmund is very appealing to girls.

But Lucy?

She has been so sheltered.]

[curlytop]

All my experience has been with you as well.

[Still, he knows he's probably got a broader base of knowledge than she does.]

[Surely her maids? Someone has to have giggled something inappropriate into her ear?]

[illuminescent]

[Her cheeks start to burn, her face starts to scorch, practically. She wants to explain but this is harder than she thought.]

I know that you would be inside of me.

[curlytop]

[George smiles up at her gently, rubbing slow circles on her hips and thighs.]

Aye. I'd be inside you, as I've never been inside anyone.

What else do you know?

[illuminescent]

I know it is meant to feel good.

[So clearly she didn't get horror stories about how it should hurt the first time, so that's a plus.]

[curlytop]

[That had been one of George's concerns, so he's glad to have it removed.]

I hope that you'll like it very much too. I'll try, but you'll have to tell me if something feels good or doesn't.

[illuminescent]

Unless we want a babe, yes. I know that as well.

[And they do not. They do not want evidence of this, to spoil the maiden queen's reputation.]

I know that I think it is silly that this is an act that everyone judges others for.

[curlytop]

[They don't want that, but a part of George feels a little sad that it will never be something they can have.]

Aye, but they will judge you, if it comes out.

[illuminescent]

[She would, one day, like to have a family. A baby. She thinks they might manage it, somehow, but she cannot think how just at this moment.]

I will not let anyone judge me. Or you. Even if it means we keep this ours, yes?

[curlytop]

Yes. But you may not be able to stop them. You can't police people's thoughts. We may be as secretive as we like. People will still talk.

[He doesn't care for his own sake--people already judge him, even in Narnia--but he doesn't like to think of her living with whispers and disapproving looks.]

[illuminescent]

[Her silence is a delicate, embarrassed thing. She does not say anything at first, but finally her voice cracks a little.]

Will you love me if they call me a whore?

[There is not a soul in Narnia that would say such a thing.

But it is not only Narnia who keeps their eyes on Lucy.]

[curlytop]

[George sits up, cupping her face in both hands, his voice low and serious but gentle.]

I will strike any man who dares, but I will love you just the same.

[It's one of those odd things he doesn't know how to explain to Lucy: how very different views about sex are in his home. How very different this whole thing would be if they'd met in his world instead of hers.]

[illuminescent]

[Her hands go up to catch his, layers of warmth against her cheeks.]

Then I will manage.

[She thinks, certainly. Perhaps she will not like it. But that it a matter for another day.]

I want you. All of you. Every part you wish to give me.

[curlytop]

[George leans in to kiss her, slow and sweet.]

Every part of me is yours already.

[His hand slides around to the back of her neck, and he kisses her again, deeper this time, not demanding but inquiring.]

[illuminescent]

[She turns so she is on her back, and tugs him a little, so his weight is just a little on her. He kisses her, and she kisses back, tugging at him and opening her legs to make sure he knows.

She's happy for this.

She wants him, and she shows it by taking his hand to her breast, her nipple hard against his palm.]

[curlytop]

[George can feel his heart pounding in his chest as he moves with her. He kneads her breast with his palm and drags his lips down her throat. This feels like something precious, in a society like this, for Lucy to give herself to him. He wants to give it, and her, the reverence they deserve.]

[illuminescent]

[She raises her neck, so he can kiss her right where she wants, she directs him with the skill of someone who is used to getting her way. Her gasps are tiny and just a little needy.]

Please.

[She whispers it carefully, her hand going to curl in his hair, to get caught there.]

Please.

[curlytop]

[George follows her direction with the skill of someone who is used to being told what to do. He doesn't mind just now. His trail fo kisses runs down her throat and along her collar bone. He doesn't lift his lips from her skin to speak.]

Please what, Lucy? Tell me what you'd have me do.

[illuminescent]

[She goes so quiet, and she pushes up against him, as she takes his hand and brings it between her legs.]
